Launched as a weekly in 2000 by Myanmar Consolidated Media, Ltd, The Myanmar Times is Myanmar’s premier English-language daily newspaper. The company also publishes Myanmar-language daily and weekly newspapers, and now! weekly women’s magazine, a premier lifestyle publication printed exclusively in Myanmar language. The Myanmar Times has won 8 Asian Publisher Awards for Journalism (SOPA – The Society of Publishers in Asia) from 2012 to 2016.
